Talking abut weather, an early spring is more unpredictable than summer. The contrast between winter and spring, is more striking than that between sun and storm. Adding to that is the return of fog which further pushes our memory back to early winters. Whispering in the fog, however, are pink blossoms rather than brown bunks. They are not silent, and will not grow silent, and will expand into a flag, echoing the new tulips, the new residents in gay colors who are supposed to be here only for the spring.
I forgot what are supposed to substitute them in summer, but maybe more modestly colored and more dressed ones.Maybe no substitution will happen for coronavirus. All students are off campus, incurring a plunge of its audience. Indeed they deserve a longer permit to reside here for compensating this loss.
